The Siberian Husky is a medium-sized working dog breed. The breed belongs to the Spitz genetic family. It is recognizable by its thickly furred double coat, erect triangular ears, and distinctive markings, and is smaller than a very similar-looking dog, the Alaskan Malamute. They originated in Northeast Asia where they are bred by the Chukchi People for sled -pulling, guarding, and companionship.

Description
Generally, Siberian Husky are big, has a compact, light, and furry frames. They have medium-sized heads, sometimes having unique black & white or red & white patterns. Their medium-length muzzles end in black noses (or brown for-coated dogs). They have triangular ears that open forward and almond-shaped eyes that create an involved and cunning expression. Their proud, erect necks and straight backs lead to bushy tails. Theis well-furred coat is close enough to show off the muscular lines of the body.

Habitat
These dogs were originally bred in Siberia who found their way into Canada, Alaska, and the United States only at a much later stage. As mentioned earlier, these dogs were used to pull sleighs and sleds and were also used for expedition purposes. However, these days dogs are found in places with varying climatic conditions.
However, it would be a good idea to know about a Siberian Husky's natural habitat which will help in providing the best living conditions as pets

Behavior
Husky dog behavior is independent. They are intelligent, very alert and have a strong sense of freedom. Huskies are light on their feet, very playful and can be great companions, but before you make the move, make sure you have considered whether the behaviors of Husky dogs will suit your household.
